At the Beta Sigma chapter of Theta Phi Alpha, sisterhood doesn’t stop at the alumni stage. Any sister who is no longer a collegiate is always welcome back onto campus with open arms. We love when our alumni come to visit and encourage them to come to as many events as they can.
During our Big/Little Ritual, new girls get to meet sisters who have graduated and we see how families have grown. At Founder’s Day, collegiate and alumni come together with the important women in our lives- mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts- to celebrate the founding of our organization.
"As Alumnae Chair I keep a strong bond among the collegiate members of the Beta Sigma chapter and the alumnae. I remind our alumnae sisters that they are not forgotten even though they are no longer a student at Ramapo College- we send them birthday cards and a biweekly newsletter called "The Beta Sigma Bulletin". The newsletter shares information with what the chapter is currently doing and what exciting life events are happening among our alumnae."
